KPI and Impact Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY

ProVeg is committed to transparency and evidence. We want to measure and prove our impact and ensure that all our projects are aligned to our mission 50by40. As such, we are in the process of standardising and centralising our KPI metrics. We are seeking applicants who are data-driven, good with numbers, and impact-focussed. The new post holder will work in the research department and will be tasked with setting up a comprehensive KPI and impact measurement system and then collecting and tracking our project performance data in close cooperation with the various departments. Serving as a key member of our team, the KPI and Impact Specialist works with internal and external stakeholders to help defining objectives for all our interventions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Centralising and standardising our KPI metrics and implementation of our evaluation framework across all interventions

  • Supporting our departments to establish and periodically review measurable outcomes and impacts for new and ongoing interventions

  • Looking into and doing research on problems’ causes and effects we are working on

  • Supporting project development and data gathering procedures in conjunction with other departments

  • Managing our database

  • Analysing data generated by monitoring and evaluation processes and providing regular reports for organisational learning and project improvement, strategic planningand fundraising

  • Keeping up-to-date with best practice developments and improving our processes

COMPETENCIES

Required

  • Self-starter personality with a curious nature and a drive to continuously optimise

  • Master degree in evaluation/ social sciences/ statistics or a comparable field

  • Excellent data analysis & reporting skills (SPSS or PSPP)

  • Ability to explain mathematical and statistical concepts to our staff

  • Experience in working with impact logic models

  • Excellent project planning skills

  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative impact evaluation

  • Experience in developing evaluation questionnaires

  • Excellent communication skills in English (German skills are desirable)

Preferred

  • Previous experience with KPI management, impact evaluation, risk management, SOP management or data science

  • Experience with CSR reporting and/or the Social Reporting Standard

  • Experience in the NGO sector

  • Willingness to relocate to Berlin where applicable
