Your Tasks

Manage Encavis’ growing Solar and Wind portfolio in changing energy markets by generating insights on risks and opportunities
Support Energy Risk Management and other departments with quantitative analysis required for hedging and investment decisions across different European markets
Actively contribute to improve and further develop Encavis Energy Risk Management monitoring, reporting and processes
Coordinate risk management activities, perform reviews and discuss results with the responsible management
Ensure strong cooperation within the project teams for all topics related to risk management

Your Profile

Academic degree in natural sciences, economics, statistics or equivalent
Passionate about the energy transition and renewables
Ideally already 3-5 years of work experience (practical experience in Origination/Trading/Risk Management departments is a plus)
Ability to quickly dive into complex matters and communicate quantitative insights in understandable terms
Confidence engaging external and internal stakeholders and advising business leaders
Experience in data analysis using R/Python/Matlab is advantageous
Very good language skills in German and English are required
